Terms and Conditions

The following Terms & Conditions apply to any and every part of BENTON END FLOWER FARM website, and by visiting this site you are agreeing to adhere to the following:


1. Price & Payment Terms



1.1 We reserve the right to adjust the price before delivery to reflect any unforeseen cost increases.

1.2 Payment of goods constitutes acceptance of our Terms and Conditions as outlined in this document. 

1.3 Goods remain the property of BENTON END FLOWER FARM until payment is received in full.

1.4 Payment is taken on ordering even if there is a waiting period of a few months, as card validity sometimes expires within this period.

2. Delivery

2.1 We currently use UKMail, MyHermes or the Royal Mail to deliver our parcels. (Please refer to our Delivery page for exact dispatch and delivery times depending on the time of year). If we have used UKMail or MyHermes to ship your parcel, you can request a tracking number by contacting us at stating your Order Reference number.

2.2 Acceptance of delivery constitutes acceptance of our Terms and Conditions as outlined. 

2.3 Deliveries can be left in a safe location at your request, but no responsibility is taken for them by Benton end flower farm or the carrier from this point on.

2.4 Overseas deliveries - WE DO NOT OFFER OVERSEAS DELIVERY


2.5 You may be subject to a delivery surcharge depending on your shipping address. Please refer to our Delivery page for a break down of our shipping costs and surcharges. 


2.6 Once your order is in the hands of our Couriers or the Royal Mail, the responsibility of delivery lies with the relevant service provider. If you have an issue with the delivery, you will need to contact them direct.


2.7 During our busy 'Flower Show/Exhibition' periods, we may not be able to dispatch your order for up to 10 working days or if its Dahlia tubers they will ALL be dispatched in the month of March to ensure viability and quality. 


3. Refunds

3.1 You have the right to cancel your order at any time within 7 days of your order date.

3.2 All returns must be returned at your cost within 7 days of receipt. 

3.3 Payment for the returned goods will be refunded within 7 days of the goods being received by us, less the postage charges.

3.4 Every effort is made to see that our stock is correctly named and of the highest quality, however neglect, poor planting conditions, adverse weather conditions and damage by animals/pests could lead to plants failing. It is therefore impossible for us to consider complaints 7 days after purchase. If there is anything wrong with any bulb/tuber or plant on arrival, we need to be contacted straight away so we can deal with it ASAP. Bulbs/tubers of plants will be replaced at our discretion.



4. Order

4.1 If certain varieties are not available we reserve the right to replace with a suitable substitute. This rarely happens as we have large quantities of bulbs/plants or tubers.

4.2 Most Dahlia Tubers are dispatched at the end of February or in March in most cases, but they are still available for Pre order from October.

4.3 The descriptions and photographs on this website are intended as a guide only, planting varieties in different aspects and climates can have an effect on colour, height and flowering. Feeding/watering also plays a big part in this too.




5. Privacy

5.1 To be able to process and record your order details, we retain certain information in our computer systems. We record your name, address, e-mail address and the contents of shopping carts and orders made. This information is held on a secure database. At no time will it be disclosed to third parties. All the data you supply is handled and managed in accordance with the Data Protection legislation.
